As we know Infiniti, the luxury sub-brand of Nissan isn’t that kind of automaker which is knows for having cars full of passion and soul. Let’s admit it, for many of us Infiniti cars are nothing else than cosmetically enhanced Nissan cars. And that is how we completely overwhelmed by the new Infiniti Retro Prototype, which will get officially revealed at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

This Infiniti Retro Prototype concept is inspired by “heritage” which refers to a barn find Japanese race car they came across a while back. They speak of roots and spirit and craftsmanship when discussing this car, which are heavy words for a company founded 1989 to sell modern luxury cars with lots of plastic and industrial leather.

It all started with a simple idea, and look where they are now,. Hopefully this retro model will affect the look and feel of their future production models.It will affect the technology, no doubt, since Infiniti Retro Prototype, despite being retro, uses an advanced EV powertrain.
